Hi, I'm Kristina. For years I was a shy, overachieving student whispering prayers at recess. Then I was the weirdo who married the love of my life while in college (not sorry!) and we backpacked the world together. Now we’re parents of three on a mission with our kiddos "to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with [our] God" (Micah 6:8). And yep, we still travel.
Writing books was unexpected. I graduated with a math degree and tried all sorts of things—teacher, stock broker, software engineer—before I quit to do my favorite job ever: momming. And then even more fun: bigger kids and homeschooling. I had no idea God would also turn my love for Him and for reading into a new project. I'm still pinching myself at this dream job I didn't know to ask for.
Following Jesus is life-encompassing and world-changing, and believing Him and obeying Him matters right now, today, whatever age we are. I especially love writing stories about teenagers who hear God's still, small voice and live their lives as an adventure with Him. A girl on fire for Jesus is capable of incredible things.
